Lawrence, was involved smuggling Bibles and Christian books behind the “Iron Curtain” into Eastern Europe during the 1980s, prior to the fall of the Berlin Wall. He continues to be a supporter and advocate for the persecuted church.

In addition to smuggling Bibles as part of his Christian service, he has served as an usher, Bible study participant and leader, as well as been recognized as an elder. He has served on two church missions committees and on multiple prayer teams, as well as having been involved with many community prayer events. He has been labeled by others as an intercessor, prayer warrior and gatekeeper. Lawrence obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from California State University system and worked in a ministerial position as a public servant for over three decades.

It is his hope that readers of The Couriers will be blessed and encouraged to be called into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
